September 17 and 18, Seeheim-Jugenheim
Informative, entertaining, inspiring – that was the S&C DACH User Meeting 2025
The 4th S&C | AVEVA DACH User Meeting 2025 gathered around 150 professionals from engineering and plant design in September at the Lufthansa Conference Hotel Seeheim-Jugenheim. Key topics included Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twin, and cloud strategies. Case studies from Caliqua, Evonik, and Uhde Inventa-Fischer, along with interactive discussions, highlighted the successful use of AVEVA solutions. The program was complemented by a partner exhibition showcasing digital platforms, reality capture, and innovative hardware. Positive feedback confirmed: data integration and AI are shaping the future of plant engineering.
We are already looking forward to next year!

AI in Engineering – Opportunities & Responsibility
Experts discuss data, processes and the real impact of AI on daily work.
“Successful AI projects don’t begin with big visions, but with small steps – the right atomic processes.”
With this guiding principle, the panel discussion at the S&C | AVEVA DACH User Meeting explored how artificial intelligence is transforming the daily work of engineers.
The panelists shared diverse perspectives:
-
Martin Blumöhr, Evonik – Data quality and the digital twin as the foundation for reliable AI training
-
Armin Scheuermann, Technical Journalist – A brief overview of the status quo
-
Celso Rangel, Tiger Solutions – Why many AI projects fail
-
Moresh Wankhede, AVEVA – How atomic processes create real value
Moderated by Helmut Schuller, the discussion highlighted both the opportunities AI brings to engineering and the responsibility companies and professionals must take on in shaping its future use.
